Are you as into skin mists as I am? I am bringing you the Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist Review because I am loving this product. Skin mists and makeup setting sprays such as Mac Cosmetics fix plus and other dewy face sprays such as Tarte’s Ready Set Radiant and Mario Badescu’s face mists are all that’s needed to set your final makeup look.
If you want to learn more about my favourite Asian skincare brands read my review of some great Korean and Japanese skincare products here.
One dewy skin mist that’s new on the scene but is highly recommended is Tatcha’s Luminous Dewy Skin Mist. Despite the price point of $58 CAD for the large size and $24 CAD for the tatcha dewy skin mist travel size, I would say this gem of a dewy mist is an absolute buy.
Usually, I’m not for expensive brands but Tatcha is a Korean Skincare Brand that amazes me with every product that I try. I have to say they are one of those brands that meets all of my needs in terms of packaging and product. In that case, I can justify the cost for quality skincare (at times!).
Also, Tatcha is known for their Hadasei-3™ specialized ingredient mixture of green tea, rice and algae. This is what makes Tatcha as a brand so amazing because they have a unique complex that you can only get if you purchase this brand.
Tatcha Dewy Skin Mist Review:
The Packaging – The packaging for the Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist is quite beautiful. It comes in a purple glass tube that has an ombre effect. It is a one nozzle pump spray which makes it very simple to apply – no complicated sprays here! Simple and easy = love. Thanks Tatcha!
How to Apply the Dewy Skin Mist by Tatcha
The Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist only requires 2 – 3 sprays to get glowing skin over makeup. You can even apply the Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist without makeup! Tatcha’s main goal is to bring out your own glowing skin for a natural healthy look.
With this mist you will achieve glass like or dewy looking skin. You may need to apply more than one spray throughout the day because it does tend to wear off a bit.
Ingredients in the Dewy Mist
Tatcha is known for it’s well sourced ingredients so some of the main ingredients are:
Okinawa Red Algae which helps the skin replenish its own moisture barrier.
Squalane which absorbs into the skin to nourish and moisturize.
Tatcha’s Signature Hadasei-3 (a trinity of anti-aging Japanese superfoods born from nourishing Green Tea, Rice, and Algae): Restores a healthy-looking, youthful radiance.
Is the Luminous Dewy Skin Mist Worth It?
I first tried the Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist when I went out on a Saturday night on a double date. My girlfriend kept complimenting my skin saying that it looked flawless and she couldn’t get over it. I realized it was the Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist that was giving me the healthy glow on top of my makeup. Success! I never want anybody to know how much I pack onto my face sometimes LOL!
Results of the Luminous Dewy Skin Mist
With a 3/3 the Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist Review is complete and I definitely think it’s a buy! If you’re not sure if you want to commit to the full size, try the travel size first which is what I did! When in doubt try try try!
Try other Tatcha Dewy Products
Tatcha as a brand has a lot of other dewy products to make your skin moisturized and look like glass. Here are some of the top selling products:
Tatcha Dewy Skin Cream
The Tatcha Dewy Skin cream does what it says it does. It uses plumping hydration and antioxidant ingredients to allow the skin to have a very healthy glow.
A lot of people like the Dewy skin cream because they are after that youthful healthy glow. The Tatcha Dewy Skin Cream can be purchased at Sephora for $89 CAD which is on the pricey side but if you know the quality of Tatcha products it shouldn’t be an issue.
The Dewy Skin cream is also a perfect pairing to use with the Luminous Dewy Skin Mist which is why they are both in purple packaging!
Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Night Concentrate
The Dewy Skin Night Concentrate is a night cream that you put on before bed time and wake up with dewy looking skin. It has similar ingredients as the Dewy skin mist such as the red algae from the mineral-rich waters of Okinawa. Overnight, it uses other ingredients that help plump the skin such as: squalane from olive fruit, green tea, wild thyme, ginseng root, licorice root, sweet marjoram, and jujube fruit.
As per the Dewy Skin Mist, there is also the famous Hadasei-3™, Tatcha’s trinity of anti-aging Japanese superfoods green tea, rice, and algae restores a healthy-looking, youthful radiance.
This retails for $142 on Sephora which I know is a lot more expensive even than the Dewy Cream but it is really worth it when you consider how much night creams are anyway. It is also really amazing for dry skin especially in the winter.
The results of the Tatcha Night Concentrate from Sephora reviews is that in little as one night, majority of people were seeing results from this product. They say their dry skin has completely cleared up especially in colder months and think that this is one of the best products by Tatcha.
There you have the Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist review along with some of the other Tatcha Dewy Products. You’ll want to make sure you check out the reviews on Sephora for yourself before you purchase.
Let me know if you think you’ll be buying any of the Tatcha Dewy skincare products if you live in Canada!
