Milk Makeup Lip and Cheek Review
When I purchased the Milk Makeup Lip and Cheek in “Perk” I thought it would be one of those over priced goodies I would end up taking back to Sephora. Without knowing Milk Makeup as a go to makeup line, I took a chance on a product that got about 4 stars on Sephora. See, I look at reviews too before making purchasing decisions!
Let’s get into the Milk Makeup Lip and Review shall we?
The Packaging – If you have seen the packaging for Milk Makeup, you will know that it’s very clean, simple and round. Everything is a stick! You can see the entire range of Milk Makeup items here (you’ll go to Sephora’s website) but you’ll see their approach to makeup is quite easy.
The Milk Makeup Lip and Cheek slightly resembles Tarte’s lip and cheek stain. The size of the Milk Makeup Lip and Cheek had to be big enough to get enough coverage on the cheeks and not be too big for a swipe on the lips. It’s honestly the perfect blush for warm sunny days and having that unique rosy glow.
The packaging is also friendly to put in your purse or for travelling since this is a 2-in-1 product!
The Application – The Milk Makeup Lip and Cheek is perfect for the summertime where you’re looking for a swipe of colour but also want to maintain a dewy look. I would say this product wouldn’t be good for those with oily skin. The idea behind “Milk Makeup” is that it’s supposed to sink into skin for a healthy, natural look with a satin finish. This product definitely does that but it can get a bit dewy in hot weather as I’ve learned.
I did use the stick on my lips and cheeks as recommended and loved the monochromatic look that this gave me.
The Verdict – This is a buy. I love everything about the Milk Makeup Lip and Cheek. The colour perk is a coral colour but there other rosy and pink tones if that’s your thing. Additionally, check out “Quickie” if you’re looking for more of a berry hue.

I’ve started exploring other products from Milk Makeup. The Blur Stick and the Watermelon Serum are both top sellers at Sephora and both products that I would love to pick up. Here are some insights into some of the great Milk Makeup Products:
Kush Mascara – Milk Makeup’s High Volume Kush Mascara almost has a perfect rating on Sephora (Click here to shop $29 CAD) and Milk Makeup’s (Click here to shop $24 USD) website. The beauty of the Kush Mascara is that it contains THC oils made from real cannabis! These oils are said to be super moisturizing and provide an easy application which is non-damaging to lashes while providing high volume.
Watermelon Brightening Serum – It’s hydrating. It’s brightening. It’s pink. The feeling of the watermelon brightening serum is truly amazing. It feels non oily to the touch and smells divine. If you’re purchasing one serum this summer make sure it’s the Watermelon Brightening Serum.
Blur Stick – The Milk Makeup Blur Stick has a matte finish and is applied before makeup. The Blur Stick is for minimizing pores and essentially erasing any imperfections on the skin. Use the Blur Stick as a primer. There’s also the Luminous Blur Stick which will give a more luminous glow under foundation.
You’ll fall in love with this brand because Milk Makeup is unlike no other. It’s really an answer to the no makeup makeup look. Try it and you’ll see!
