Lip oils are having a moment! With the rise of the popularity on TikTok, the Dior Lip Glow Oil has basically sold out everywhere right before Christmas. Sephora has sold out of the Dior Lip Glow Oil in almost every colour except Coral and Clear. I just purchased the Dior Lip Oil in Coral and I have to say I am very much in love with it.

I have found a large variety of Dior Lip Oil Dupes that you will be able to purchase without selling out.

If you’re wondering why the Dior Lip Oil has gone crazy all over TikTok and Instagram, the reason is that it makes your lips look pouty and glassy while moisturizing. It is also a very minimalistic way to glam up your look when paired with a lip liner such as the Make Up For Ever Lip Liner in Walnut which is the most popular paired with the Dior Lip Glow Oil.

The Dior Lip Oil is one of the best lip oils because it nourishes and moisturizers your lips at the same time as giving them a glossy look that will take you from day to night.

Since the Dior Lip Glow Oil is so expensive, I decided to research some dupes so that you can save money and don’t need to buy the Dior Lip Glow Oil if it is sold out everywhere.

Where is the best place to buy the Dior Lip Glow Oil?

The best places to buy the Dior Lip Glow Oil are:

The Dior Lip Glow Oil retails for $44 CAD ($39 USD) which is pretty pricey! A lot of people were wondering on Reddit especially, if the Dior Lip Glow Oil is worth the price?!

Keep reading to find out if the Dior Lip Oil Dupes are better than the real thing.

Dior Lip Glow Oil Review

You must know that the Dior Lip Glow Oil is sticky! Dior.com will say it is not sticky which is kind of true – it isn’t too sticky but it definitely is. The Dior Lip Glow Oil is not greasy though so you don’t have to worry about your lips absorbing the product entirely. It is supposed to give your lips a pouty and shiny look that lasts a long time while providing moisture and nourishment to the lips.

The Dior Lip Glow Oil is sticky because the idea is to ensure the lips stay pouty and the oil doesn’t wear into the lips. A lot of lip oils are used because people want to add moisture back into their lips. The Dior Lip Glow Oil does help your lips appear shiny but also very full and pouty almost like a lip filler glazed look.

What does the Dior Lip Glow Oil Do?

The Dior Lip Glow Oil is supposed to nourish and keep your lips soft while adding a wash of colour to the lips. You will get a smooth and mirror like glass lip finish.

It’s also not too pigmented and basically any shade will do although the shade Rosewood is the most different out of all of the Dior Lip Oil shades.

The Dior Lip Glow Oil has become a true “IT GIRL” or “Cool Girl Staple”. If you’re into the minimalistic monochromatic look the wet lip look is climbing high on the trends list for 2022.

Dior Lip Glow Oil Swatches

Since the Dior Lip Glow Oil has a very soft wash of colour you can pretty much get any shade. The shade Mahogany is the most popular followed by Rosewood and Cherry. Coral is one of the least popular of the shades but I purchased Coral because all of the other shades were sold out.

Here are all of the Dior Lip Glow Oil Swatches

001 Pink – The 001 Pink Dior Lip Glow Oil is the perfect pink lip shade. It has a slight wash of colour but nobody will ever know that you’re wearing a tint. Your lips but better for sure!

012 Rosewood – Rosewood is arguably the most popular shade right now because you get just that much of a hint of colour. However, if either Pink 001 or Rosewood 012 is sold out you could just interchange any shade really because they are so similar.

007 Raspberry – Raspberry is the shade most closest to a bubble gum type look on the lips. It is closest to 001 Pink if either is sold out these can be used interchangeably too.

015 Cherry – Cherry is also very close to Raspberry where you get that pinky tone on the lips that screams summer time! Cherry is a really popular lip oil shade because beauty gurus are loving red lipgloss at the moment and this is the most subtle shade of the bunch while still remaining fun.

004 Coral – Coral is the most overlooked shade of the Dior Lip Glow Oil. The reason why it is so flattering is that it gives your lips a hint of a juicy look. Coral is the least talked about shade of lip oil but honestly if you want something slightly different you should definitely try Coral and it happens to be the least sold out of the bunch.

006 Berry – If you like cool tones this purple tinted lip oil in 006 Berry will give your lips that hint of cool berry. This is also one of the most unique Lip Glow Oil Shades of the bunch.

Dior Lip Oil Dupes: Clarins Lip Comfort Oil

The closest dupe to the Dior Lip Oil is the Clarins Lip Comfort Oil that retails for $29 CAD ($28 on Clarins.ca). The Clarins Lip Comfort Oil comes in 8 lip oil tints including a turquoise blue shade that is scented with mint. In fact, all of the Clarins Lip Comfort Oils are scented with a compelling scent.

All of the Clarins Lip Comfort Oils have a high shine finish. It has a mirror like shine and soothes and comforts the lips at the same time. The reviews of the Clarins Lip Comfort Oils are so positive because they provide sheer colour but also treat your lips at the same time. You can also use this as a lipstick topper or wear alone with a lip liner or without. Honestly, this is the perfect multi-use lip product you should consider as the closest dupe to the Dior Lip Oil.

Clarins is the best dupe for the Dior Lip Glow Oil because it has a large doe foot applicator, has a sheer tint of colour and nourishes the lips at the same time.

Swatches of the Clarins Lip Comfort Oil Tints:

Since the Clarins Lip Comfort Oils are tints, the idea is to have a very soft wash of colour. You will not get a huge colour pay off with the Clarins Lip Oil but the same goes for the Dior Lip Glow Oil. Here are all of the swatches of the Clarins Lip Comfort Oils:

Honey

Honey is a unique shade that only comes in the Clarins Lip Oil as the Dior Lip Glow Oil does not have a shade such as this one. However, the colour is so light that it will resemble the Universal or Clear shade from the Dior Lip Oil.

Clarins Lip Oil in Honey

Raspberry

The shade Raspberry from Clarins is the closest to the Dior Lip Oil in Raspberry which of course has the same name. The Clarins Lip Oil has a slightly deeper berry undertone than the Dior Lip Oil.

Clarins Lip Oil Swatch in Raspberry

Red Berry

Red Berry in the Clarins Lip Oil is the perfect Dior Lip Oil dupe for Cherry. Red Berry definitely has a deeper tone to it and more of a deeper red wash of colour versus the Dior Lip Oil in Cherry.

Candy

The Clarins Lip Oil in Candy is a dupe for the Dior Lip Glow Oil in 001 Pink which is the signature Dior Makeup Colour. This is the perfect baby pink and will match most skin tones for a flattering natural lip look.

Tangerine

The Dior Lip Oil dupe for the Clarins Lip Oil in Tangerine is Coral. Coral is the perfect dupe for the Dior Lip Glow Oil in Coral.

Clarins Lip Oil Swatch in Tangerine

Mint

Mint is a unique turquoise colour in the Clarins Lip Oil and there isn’t a dupe for it in the Dior Lip Glow Oil.

Clarins Lip Oil Swatch in Mint

Honey Glam

There is no dupe for the Honey Glam Lip Oil by Clarins because it is such a unique shade. This shade has a hint of sparkle in it and is meant to be more of a glam look for a night out rather than a straight up moisturizing lip oil.

Clarins Lip Oil Swatch in Honey Glam

Blackberry – The Dior Lip Glow Oil in Berry is almost an exact dupe for the Clarins Lip Oil in Blackberry. The Clarins Lip Oil is definitely more pigmented and gives off more of a purple tonality.

There you have the Clarins Lip Oil Swatches in all 8 colours. One of the most popular Clarins Lip Oils is the one in Mint which may be out of stock so be sure to click the link to find out.

Dior Lip Oil Dupes: Kosas Wet Lip Oil Plumping Gloss

The Kosas Wet Lip Oil Plumping Gloss is somewhat close to the Dior Lip Glow Oil but not as good of a dupe as the Clarins Lip Oils. Either way let’s talk about how the Kosas Wet Lip Oil Plumping Gloss is still really popular on TikTok and people do love the formula of this gloss.

The Kosas Wet Lip Oil Plumping Gloss comes in 8 shades ranging from sparkling nudes to deeper reds. This is more of a gloss than a lip oil.

As you can see from the swatches below from one of the deepest shades: “Fruitjuice” this is an absolutely coloured gloss and I don’t think you’ll get the same glorious shiny pay off as you will the Dior Lip Oils.

The Kosas Wet Lip Oil Plumping gloss is a close but not full dupe of the Dior Lip Glow Oil but it does retail for $28 CAD which is cheaper than the Dior Lip Glow Oil.

If you want to see more of the Kosas Wet Lip Oil Plumping Gloss shades then I suggest you visit Sephora as they are all in stock and have the best selection.

Dior Lip Oil Dupes: Sigma Renew Lip Oil

The Sigma Renew Lip Oil is a very close dupe to the Dior Lip Glow Oil. The Sigma Renew Lip Oil is infused with jojoba oil, vitamin E, and sunflower seed oil. It is basically the same premise as the Dior Lip Glow Oil because this oil is supposed to nourish and moisturize your lips with a hint of colour.

The Sigma Renew Lip Oil in Hush is a direct dupe for the Dior Lip Glow Oil in Pink 001.

These are the best Dior Lip Oil Dupes I have rounded up but if you have any more suggestions please let me know.
